Reposition a trusted brand to tap into what parent’s trust and kids love

OVERVIEW:
The Orajel Non-Fluoride Kids brand team came to Mota9 having recognized that there was a growing trend in their consumer base of green/organic/natural shoppers who were looking for less ingredients in their products. With that insight at hand, the team wanted to redesign and reposition their Non-Fluoride package design and communication hierarchy to highlight their “free-from” benefits. Mota9 partnered with the brand team to develop a more modernized and streamlined design with an emphasis on the minimalistic ingredients for mom and dad, while leveraging the Elmo licensed line-up, and later Paw Patrol and Daniel Tiger, for child appeal. The final line-up was launched both in-stores and online, providing caretakers a product they trust and one their toddlers would love.
